Organic almond butter is a popular raw food and much healthier alternative to peanut butter. Raw organic almond butter makes great snacks for kids and can be used for dressings, sauces and spreads. You can also make quick almond milk. For kids try this, celery sticks with almond butter sprinkled with raisins (Ants on a log). Adult cooked foodists love it too!

NOTE: This almond butter is made from California almonds.  This means that the almonds that make this almond butter are processed in compliance with the USDA laws. For about 8 seconds the almonds are steamed at approx 215°F. After which they are put through a dehydrating compartment for up to a minute, to dry up the moisture from the steam. The circulating air temperature is approx 395°F. During this process the almonds are approx 220°F on their surface and approx  115°F at their core. According to the manufacturer, this process removes any microorganisms on the outside of the almonds, however they are apparently sproutable implying that the inside of the almond is still viable.

This nut butter is processed in a new raw organic vegan, peanut-free facility. It contains absolutely no traces of peanuts, soy or dairy. It contains no artificial colorings, stabilizers, flavorings or genetically engineered foods. Refrigerate for longer life.
