Amaranth Flour - 16 oz (Raw, Sprouted, Certified Organic)

Amaranth, like buckwheat and quinoa, contain protein that is unusually complete for a plant source, having a greater protein content than that of wheat. Sprouted unrefined whole grains can have 4x the amount of niacin, 2x the amount of B6 and folate, more protein and fewer starches than unsprouted grains. The American Heart Assn. recommends high fiber whole grains to decrease harmful cholesterol levels.

This product is made without gluten, however it is not Certified gluten free. The gluten free flours are made in the morning. Then the machines are air blown cleaned. Then the gluten flours are made in the afternoon.
