Remember science classes on states of matter and how things change from liquids to solids and some to gases? This is the same principle that applies to fats- they change states so don't put this product in the fridge if you want it to spread easily. Any type of fat that liquefies at higher temperatures and solidifies at lower temperatures is the nature of that particular fat not a drawback to the product itself. The exact same thing occurs with coconut oil, raw chocolate/cacao butter, even dairy butters and frying grease are the same. If you keep the jar in the fridge it will be quite solid and difficult to spread - just like other fats (yet delicious nonetheless right out of the jar with a spoon). If it is kept in the cupboard it will be softer - just like other fats. It all depends on the temperature of the enviroment that the product is kept in. Hope this helps!

The taste is similar to a Mounds candy bar. This product offers nothing but delightful coconut and chocolate goodness in it's pure and natural form. Only drawback is having to heat up the bottle so it's more spreadable.
