Chuchuhuasi is the bark of a giant Amazonian climax rainforest tree that can reach a height of greater than 30 meters.

Chuchuhuasi tea is used to specifically alleviate arthritic joint pain and most types of back pain. As an herb of extraordinary power, Chuchuhuasi also has other healing properties such as immune system improvement, tension relief, and adrenal support. Chuchuhuasi has also been traditionally used to enhance the sex drive in both men and women with continuous usage. We are proud to state that our wildcrafted Chuchuhuasi tea-cut bark is of the highest quality available in South America.

Due to its gentle effect on digestion and metabolism, Chuchuhuasi bark tea may be consumed daily by itself or with other teas and/or superfoods to create super-tonic beverages. Chuchuhuasi tea is a great herbal base for all teas and has even been added by shamans to Ayahuasca beverages. Experiment with mixing Chuchuhuasi bark with Pau D'Arco and Cat's Claw as well as with other herbs, to make unique teas.

Dosage: 10 grams makes 2 liters of wonderful tasting tea. One may add 5 grams of Pau D'Arco and/or 3.5 grams of the herb cat's claw to the Chuchuhuasi bark tea to make a traditional Amazonian-style super-healing tea.

A wonderful Chuchuhuasi bark tea recipe could include: Chuchuhuasi (10 grams) Pau D'Arco (5.0 grams) Cat's Claw (3.5 grams) Goji Berries (20 grams) 1 raw vanilla bean (This makes 2.5 liters of healing tea)

Chuchuhuasi tea makes a fantastic base to cacao (raw chocolate) drinks and it has been consumed with cacao in the Amazon for centuries. Simply add cacao beans or nibs as well as the powder from E3 Live or Brain On caps (discard the caps) and blend. This combination works to provide needed relief from joint pain. One may also add 1 teaspoon of MSM powder (after the tea is made) when consuming this recipe for even greater anti-inflammatory power.

Try adding some form of low-glycemic sweetener (such as raw yacon root syrup, dark agave cactus nectar, lucuma, etc.) to this and other Chuchuhuasi-based healing beverages.

For a real treat, use a tea made with Chuchuhuasi, Pau d'Arco and Cat's Claw as a base for a smoothie made with raw, organic cacao and Maca Extreme. Maca Extreme is a more potent form of the Peruvian Superfood Maca, which has been recognized for generations for its ability to increase fertility and enhance endurance and stamina. Raw, organic cacao has aphrodisiac properties of its own, and when combined with Chuchuhuasi its powers are brought to their full capacity.
