Juniper Berries (Whole) - 8 oz  (Sun Dried, Certified Organic)

Juniper berries come from the Evergreen Family. They have a spicy taste with a suggestion of faint pine. Juniper berries are best known for its use as the main flavouring in Gin.  The berries are commonly used as a Diuretic, anti-microbial, carminative, anti-rheumatic, tonic, antiseptic, stomachic, and for flatulence.

The active constituents of Juniper Berries are: pinene, limonene, tannins, and antioxidant flavonoids

How to use: Use as a tea, sprinkled on food or added to drinks and smoothies. For specific personal use we suggest to consult with a physician, herbalist, or other qualified medical professional.  Use in moderation, and take occasional breaks from use. We also suggest throwing some in one of our nut milk bags and leaving in the bath as it fills - quite a nice experience. Store in dry, cool area.

Note: Not to be used during pregnancy. Not for use exceeding four to six weeks in succession; contraindicated in inflammatory kidney disease.
