Prunes - 1 lb (dried, pitted, raw, organic)

A prune is a plum which is dried. Dried prunes are free of fat, saturated fat, sodium, and cholesterol and are a good source of fiber and vitamin A.  They are great straight out of the bag or if you like them soft, just soak them overnight.
