Roomaid Portable HEPA Air Filtration System - w/ V.O.C. filter (Available in Black, White and Sandstone)

Roomaid is ideal for bedrooms, small offices, automobiles (optional accessory required) and other areas where space may be limited. Three stage filtration: Pre-filter, HEPA filter, and V.O.C. filter blanket.

Three-Stage Filtration + Optional 4th Stage Added VOC Canister Pack

Stage 1: Prefilter
Removes large dust particles.

Stage 2: HEPA filter
99.97% efficient @ 0.3 microns. Removes
dust, pollen, bacteria, animal dander,
attached viruses, cigarette smoke, radon
daughters and more.

Stage 3: V.O.C Carbon filter blanket: Removes odours and VOCs that off-gas from aerosols, carpets, cigarette smoke, cleaners, furniture, dry-cleaned clothes, glues, solvents, paint, paneling.

Stage 4: Optional  V.O.C. Canister Pack.  Helps capture even more V.O.C in addition to the stage 3 V.O.C filter.

V.O.C.'s (Volatile Organic Compounds) are gasses and chemicals that are emitted in your home from objects and products like: paints, household cleaning chemicals, furniture etc.

Carbon acts as a sponge to adsorb V.O.C.'s. The standard carbon blanket that comes with every Amaircare product (Stage 3 filter in the Roomaid) is a very effective 'sponge', but with carbon, the more surface area there is, the more V.O.C.'s it can adsorb. So, the more carbon the better.

The optional  V.O.C. Canister has a much larger surface area of carbon, so it's collection capacity is greatly increased. This makes the V.O.C. Cartridge the filter of choice for situations where increased V.O.C. Removal is important.
