* 'Emerald Sun Herb Oil': Our exclusive organic herbal oil includes high, active concentrations of phyto-antioxidants including anthocyandins; regenerating phyto-nutrients; calming herbs with anti-inflammatory properties; and plants naturally high in ormus elements, vitamins, minerals, amino acids and enzymes. The herbs are extracted over a period of up to 30 days with a consistent temperature of around 100◦F, then strained, pressed and filtered. Jojoba oil is used as the base oil for dry skin formulas, and light Fractionated Coconut oil is used for normal and oily skin formulas.

*’Himalaya-Rainforest Herb Oil’: Our exclusive wild-crafted Tibetan Goji berry, Amazon Acai and Urucum seed oil contains high levels of antioxidant carotenes, tocotrienols, vitamin C and flavonoids providing excellent natural sun protection.

HOW TO USE ISUN SKIN CARE PRODUCTS

Facial Oil or Cream Moisturizer

Amount: 3-4 pumps

How To: Apply over face and neck. If using a facial oil, avoid applying on skin ¼” from eye opening.

Option: Mix the oil or cream with the Phyto-Infusion and apply together. This creates a lighter, more rapidly absorbed moisturizer.

Option: If not using the Phyto-Infusion, mix the oil or cream with the Emerald

Sun Hydrosol or Hydrosol Mist for the lightest application. More hydrosol with only 1-3 drops of oil or cream makes a good moisturizer for oily skin.

Why Moisturize & Protect?

In addition to water, a large component of skin structure is oil in the forms of fatty acids and phospholipids. Natural skin oils become depleted with age and often due to hormones, diet and environment. Protecting and nourishing skin with nutrient-rich oils is important to maintain and restore the skin’s own protective moisture barrier and to help regenerate healthy skin. Skin-soluble oils also provide excellent carriers of other beneficial nutrients and protective antioxidants.

Optional steps in a skin care regime are: Age-repair serums, eye care, lip care and facial mask treatments.

The High Value of Facial Oil Moisturizers

~Absolute purity in a moisturizer can only be attained in an oil. A pure oil is not blended with any water-based substance and unlike creams and lotions which are blends of oil and water, no preservative is needed and no solubilizers or stabilizers are necessary to use as additives.

~Oils contain the highest level of active, alive nutrients that are very efficiently assimilated through skin. Unlike most creams and lotions that require high temperatures to emulsify the water and oil content, oils do not require heat to blend. Cold processed oils insure ingredient integrity and the activity of all the nutrients naturally present in the plant ingredients. Like cooking food, temperatures exceeding around 110º F destroy enzymes, vitamins and alter or deactivate many other beneficial nutrients in the product ingredients.

~Oils are naturally absorbed by skin and can penetrate deeper due to the natural oil composition in skin. Contrary to common belief, most oils do not clog pores the same as creams emulsified with wax. If the correct facial oil formula is matched to the suggested skin type, the right balance of moisture is efficiently absorbed and after about 30-60 minutes of penetration, the skin feels neither heavy nor greasy and can ‘breathe’.

~In summary, the use of a well-formulated facial oil compared to most creams is a safer alternative that is more active and more therapeutically effective. A facial oil leaves skin with a desired and noticeable renewed look of health and dewy, youthful radiance. People who make a switch from creams to oils for their facial moisturizer, most often find they cannot return to the heavier feeling of wearing a cream. They also miss the look of fresh skin radiance they became accustomed to using an oil – especially, an ISUN facial oil.

Integrity Packaging

Our products are packaged in dark violet miron glass from Germany, made especially to preserve the integrity of natural ingredients. Analysis studies comparing the preservation of nutritional values of spirulina stored in amber glass with storage in miron dark violet glass showed the violet glass maintained higher levels of nutrients for longer periods. Miron dark violet glass has also been shown to block radiation from xray machines in airports and other sources of radiation, thereby protecting natural products packaged in miron glass.
