I adore this thing. I hate buying things made of plastic (the only bad thing about this product) but I use this unit regularily and it is a sturdy unit regardless. Bought my second from Upaya as a gift. So great for veggie noodles and gorgeous colorful salads. Recommended.

Making vegetable spirals

This is a great machine. We have made raw pasta from zucchini and sweet potatoes using the spiral blade. We use it often for salad spirals of cucumber, zucchini, sweet potato. Every one raves about these salads. I am buying 3 more for family members. upaya's prices are the best I've found too. upaya is a great company - we have bought a a Hurom juicer and moringa powder from upaya - fast service, great prices. Keep up the good work!!

Fun for the whole family!

I love this slicer. My husband loves it. My daughter especially loves it (she had spent ages grating potato for a recipe she was making when I came home from work, and showed her how this could make short work of a potato - we tried all of the blades on the potato, and got foot-long spirals - she was sold!). My father-in-law and his wife were over last night, and I showed them how this cut through zucchini (which they grow mountains of in their garden). They plan to buy one tomorrow. It's quick and easy to use, and quick and easy to clean up afterwards (I really care about that). And the zucchini pasta that I make regularly is delicious!
