I've been using this for 3 years. It does a good job (personal preference over jar or bag method).
I feel it's not great for really small seeds such as mustard, alfalfa, clover, etc., as they get 'stuck' in the ridges within the unit.
Also when you water and let the trays drain, the seeds have a tendency to flow to the drainage filter. I find myself having to unplug the filter several times to let it drain properly, and end up standing there for about 10 minutes to make sure it drains properly.
My final complaint is I have a personal thing about the manufacturer saying you don't need to water for 4-5 days. I am not comfortable with this as the sprouter builds up humidity and it just sits there. I rinse daily.
Would I recommend this little beauty? Yes. It takes up little space and it does work. I just feel that people need to be made aware of some of the problems they may encounter.
All in all, it is worth getting if you want to keep a supply of sprouts on hand.
