These raisins would have been perfect for snacking if they weren't a little dried out and crystallized (old). They do have an exceptional taste in baked goods. I'll order them again, hoping for a fresher batch, then they'd be the best raisins for snacking as well as baking!

Thank you for your comment. All our dried fruits, including the raisins, do not contain any preservatives, sulfites or oils that are typically added to most dried products on the market to keep the them from sugaring or crystallizing. Some natural sugars on raisins and other dried fruits that have a high sugar content is normal due to them not being coated with preservatives.

Excellent
