Hazelnuts (Filberts) SHELLED 2lb bag (raw, certified organic)

Also known as filberts and cobnuts, these sweet, rich, grape-size nuts are a good source of energy as they contain around 62% of oil content. Hazelnuts are a source of the essential unsaturated fatty acid, linoleic acid, and the best nut source of manganese.

It is also a good source of Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), copper and zinc. It also contributes significant amounts of protein, fiber, iron, phosphorus, vitamins B1, B2, C, and folate.

fresh and delicious. I love using them in baking, making granola or occasionally eating a handful of them. Only wished they’d come in recyclable or compostable packaging for less environmental impact.

For many years I have been purchasing product from Upaya Naturals. The hazelnuts are one of the items I purchase which have become a staple, especially processed into hazel nut milk.  I often use the hazelnut milk to turn my Chaga tea into the most delightfully tasteful warm drinks. My grandchildren look forward to the fruit smoothies we make with raw hazelnut milk as the base. For me it is about the excellent nutrition I offer them. For these youngsters it is all about the taste(!) they love the smoothies.
