Organic Raw Oaxaca Honey, is it Pure or does it has added sugar?

The Kevala Organic Raw Oaxaca Honey is 100% honey, pure, raw, organic and delicious. There is no added sugar or any other sweetener or ingredient in our honey. The misunderstanding from the added sugar on the nutritional label comes from previous regulations that stated that honey should be listed as “added sugar” on the nutrition facts panel of a product. However this incorrectly implies that sugar is added to pure honey, like ours. There is no added sugar to our product.

The regulatory agency recently stated that it would exempt single-ingredient packages of pure honey from this clause, so we are working to update the nutrition facts panel of Kevala Organic Honey and adjust the grams from added sugar to its correct place in total sugars. As clearly shown, the 17 grams of sugar will only change position from added sugar to total sugars: as honey is composed mostly of the sugars glucose and fructose. We appreciate your understanding.
