Quinoa is well known for it's nutritional properties since its protein content is high at 12%–18%. It contains a balanced set of essential amino acids, making it a complete protein source among plant foods. It is a good source of dietary fiber and phosphorus and is high in magnesium and iron. Quinoa is gluten-free and easy to digest once soaked and sprouted or cooked.
